Outside of Top Gun, Enemy of the State and The Last Boy Scout, Tony Scott is a god damn idiot piece of shit. I haven’t seen True Romance, but I can assume with some safety that the reason that movie is so heralded has nothing to do with his direction. Man on Fire is absolutely unwatchable and headache-inducing and Unstoppable is a sloppy mess with countless for-no-reason zooms on characters during moments of little to no consequence. It’s weird that after making super cool flicks like those three aforementioned titles he switched up his style to shaky camera movement, bright lights flashing frequently, and constant one-note Denzel Washington.

Fuck Tony Scott.
