As I near the end of listening to Coroner’s discography from start to finish a few times over, I find that Grin isn’t holding up as well as I would’ve hoped. I remember really liking it when I first heard it in high school, but all of the vocal distortion is taking me out of it and there is a lot more chugging on this album than I would like from a band like Coroner who is capable of so much more.
